1 “Communication is an interactive process” briefly explain.
Communication can be possible between the two more person one who send the message and second who receive the message. A single person cannot do the communication alone. Communication is a process in which to person interact each other to communicate. For example a letter send to a person by someone other is the interactive process.
2 Define and give an example of the verbal, non verbal and graphic communication.
Non- Verbal communication:- Non- verbal communication can be define as the communication between the two person without the words . In this type of communication mechanism use to express emotion, including facial expression, gesture, posture, tone of voice and the like. e.g. Playing instrumental music, dancing, painting and sculpturing, the 21-gun salute, horns, and sirens
Verbal communication:- Verbal communication is one way for people to communicate face-to-face. Some of the key components of verbal communication are sound, words, speaking, and language. E.g. Attending the customer in the shop.
Graphic communication: - Graphic communication as the name suggests is communication through graphics and graphical aids. It is the process of creating, producing, and distributing material incorporating words and images to convey data, concepts, and emotions. E.g. presenting the statically data.
3 (a) Define the ‘Sender’ and ‘Receiver’
Sender: - sender is a person who sends the message.
Receiver: - Receiver is person who receives the message.
(b) Define the term ‘message’
Message: - message can be defined as a usually short communication transmitted by words, signals, or other means from one person, station, or group to another.
( c) define the term ‘feedback’
Feedback: - the communication of responses and reactions to proposals and changes, or of the findings of performance appraisals, with the goal of enabling improvements to be made.
4 (a) define the term ‘perception’
Perception: - Process by which people translate sensory impressions into a coherent and unified view of the world around them. Though necessarily based on incomplete and unverified information, perception is 'the reality' and guides human behaviour in general.
(b) List the four factors that may influence the perception of the sender or receiver of a message.
Factors that influence the different perception are as follow: - 1. Physiology - the physical information that the eye or the ear can take in 2. Culture-beliefs, attitudes 3. Social roles of family, personality, habit 4. Cognitive ability, the way your brain processes The context also affects the perception
5 (a) list four type of different communication.
