1 (a) Ans:- Advantages and disadvantages of three possible channels of communication.
1 Letter:
Advantages
- it is a written form of communication
- cheapest and easiest way of communication
- it contains detailed form of information
Disadvantages
- it takes too long time
- letter may be lost if it is not stamped properly
- wrong address is also a disadvantage of this
2 Telephone:
Advantages
- it is the cheapest way of communication
- we can talk through very long distances
- very fast way of communication
Disadvantages
- network problem is a big cause of telephone
- we can’t keep record
- it requires more electricity
3 Personal visit:
Advantages
- face to face communication
- we can take response at the time
Disadvantages
- it takes too long time
- people may get bored, of not interested in communication
(b) According to me Michael should use telephone for the first follow up contact. Because
- he can get feedback at the time
- it also saves time
- this is the best way of communication


2 (a) Ans:- It is absolutely right that we need proper communication skills. Because without skills we can’t show our other skills in an organization. Communications skills are necessary in an organization. If you have not proper communication how you show your other skills in an organization.
(b) Yes, an organization should train its staff. Because staff is the main part of an organization. If staff is trained then company can get progress.

4 Ans:-(a) • David answers and deals with a telephone call and then continues the conversation with Mary
Inappropriate channels and medium

• Another person enters David’s office and interrupts the conversation to ask Mary to solve a problem in the delivery times for stock.
Inappropriate timing

• When Mary has provided the solution, Mary And David resume their discussion.
Wrong feedback

• Mary looks at her watch and exclaims that it is time for her next appointment;
Inattention by receiver

• As they rush to finish their plans they discuss who will present the new software procedures at the staff meeting. When that item comes up, Marry expects David to present the procedure; David believes marry is present it.

5 Ans:-(a) Communication plays important role in our daily routine and it is necessary at work place also. Because we can share our thoughts and ideas by communication.
(b) Both message and channel are depend on each other.Communication is incomplete without both of them.
(c) By facial expression and body movement.
(d) Perception of message and personal experience.
(e) Because noise interrupts the message.
(f) Yes, communication is a learned behavior. Because we learn so many things through communication like how to present ourself,how to talk.
(g) It is important for both the sender and receiver of a message to have empathy for the other person for the reduction of other problems related to message.


6 Ans:-(a) Person A or B are sometime correct on their view or sometime not give proper Feedback to another.(b) Person c gives proper solution to both a and b about the discussion according to his opinion
