1. Letter is easier than the emails because there is no need of any specific device while writing a letter and everyone can use this facility very easily.
2. It is not expensive.

Disadvantages
It is very slow,compare than emails.
It takes time to write them.
It takes time to arrive.

Advantages & disadvantages of telephone?

Advantages.
You dont have to shout really loud to be heard more than 20 feet away.
Call family or friends living in another country.

Disadvantages.
You have to pay for them.
Anoying sales calls

Advantages and disadvantages of personal visit?

Advantages.
There is more possibility to share your problem and emotions.
Its very comfortable.

Disadvantage.
Its expences
