· a Letter:Letter is a written form of communication. To write any letter it requires a written skill.
Advantages:
1.Letter is an easiest and cheapest means of communication.
2.By letter you can easily write and send a message to receiver.
3.You can easily keep written record.
Disadvantages
1. It takes a long time.
2. Delay in receiving.
3. It requires a huge knowledge of proper words.
B. TELEPHONE
Telephone is a modern means of communication. It is a fastest way of communication as well as cheapest too.
ADVANTAGES:
1. It is cheapest means of communication.
2. You can easily communicate with a person who is far from you in a short time:
DISADVANTAGES:
1. You can not keep written record.
2. Sometime it create problem in communication because of network problem.
C. PERSONAL VISIT:
Personal visit means a one person meets other person for communication means talking about any proper subject.
ADVANTAGES:
1. BY personal visit one person comes closer to another person.
2. It increases a personal relationship.
DISADVANTAGES:
1. IT takes long time.
2. It also an expensive means of communication.
B. Deeside which of them Michael should use for the first follow-up contact with this potential client. Give reason for your answer.
ANS: According to me, Michel should use telephone for the communication with the client. Because it is very easy means of communication, he can talk with his client in a short time. He can easily explain all the information to his client and easily get feedback in ashorttime. According to me telephone will be best means of communication rather than other two means of communication.
2. a. One of the most important skills that any person in an organization needs is the ability to communicate. Without communication your other skills are less useful. Explain the meaning of this statement.
ANS: It is true that if you have note proper communication skill, you are unable to show your other skill. Because communication is the most important skill that any person in an organization need as without communication we are unable to make the proper use of our other skills. If you have not an appropriate communication how you show your other skills to your manager. And it is the age of communication.
b. Should an organization train its staff in workplace communication? Give reasons for your answer.
ANS: of course, an organization should train its staff to communication. Because it is the era of communication, if an organization train his staff in appropriate way he can easily get feedback from his staff means he easily make progress of his company.

ANS: Noise occurs as the barrier in communication between Mary and David. The person who wants to ask about solution of the problem in the delivery times for stock, Mary and David forget about their discussion on software package. Mary looks at her watch because she is in hurry for her second appointment, so they are unable to decide who will present the procedure to introduce their new plan for new software package.
