(a) Letter:
Advantages of letter:
1. If someone has no such a good ability to communicate face to face with any one, then he or she can share his views easily.
2. If the receiver has no time to communicate then he can read the letter latter whenever he will free.

Disadvantages of letters:
1. It is taking too much time to reach till receiver.
2. For letters sender must have the full postal address of receiver.

Telephone:
Advantages of Telephone:
1. You are able to communicate with anyone in the world (as long as you have the number and the country's state code) at any time. It allows you to keep in contact with them and know how they are.
2. This is good way to share your all views with any one sitting apart.

Disadvantages of Telephone:
1. If we are calling any person, he or she can ignore us by switching off the mobile phone.
2. Somewhere there is no coverage of the signals.

Personal visit:
Advantages of personal visit:
1. There is more possibility to share emotions, experiences, skills by taking face to face.
2. If you visit to anyone, then he or she can never ignore you & your skills.

Disadvantages of personal visit:
1. For personal visit we have to cancel other schedule to attend anyone.
2. If someone has no such a good ability to communicate face to face with any one, then their will is a problem for him to show his views.


(b) Michael should use personal visit to follow up contact with potential client because with the help of personal visit he can show everything according to the interest of the client. He can show his future designs to attract the client.

The skill that will give you these benefits is effective communication. In fact, the benefits of communication are too big to list here because communication enhances so many aspects of your life.
If someone did not having good communication skills there will be difference in the perception, different attitudes & values, inconsistency between spoken & nonverbal communication.

(b)
let if there are no good communication skills then we can watch so many different outcomes like people often see & interpret the same event or action in different way, people often form different interpretations, poor communication & confusion due to an ambiguous message. Sometime the receiver can become angry & retaliate.

1. I was traveling in a train, there are two persons one from Kenya & another from U.K, suddenly person from U.K asked keep away from me “I did not like black people. I was watching that time and the wording of person from U.K hurt the Kenya ones felling.
2. In India, our society is divided into so many castes, all having the same rights. Sometimes upper level castes asked them that you are so backward, these statements heart their feelings.
3. A smart boy proposed a girl and she reject him because of another community.
(b)
1. In the first case there is difference in culture backgrounds.
2. In the second case there is lack of courtesy.
3. In the third case there is also difference of cultures
(c)
1. The person from U.K can be say that, hello can you please sit on another seat because I am not felling well.
2. They must not say anything to them which make them feel about the backwardness.
3. If she wants to refuse the proposal she also can say that I have already a boyfriend, which will not make him feel from another community.
(d)
1. Different attitudes and values- people often form different interpretation.
2. Dismissing other’s concerns or point of view- the receiver may withdraw.
3. Differences in perception- people often see and interpret the same event in a different way.

• David answers and deals with a telephone call and then continues the conversation with Mary.

• Another person enters David’s office and interrupts the conversation to ask Mary to solve a problem in the delivery times for stock;

• When Mary has provided the solution, Mary And David resume their discussion;

• Mary looks at her watch and exclaims that it is time for her next appointment;
Ans. Receiver inattention

• As they rush to finish their plans they discuss who will present the new software procedures at the staff meeting. When that item comes up, Marry expects David to present the procedure; David believes marry is present it.

(b). Sources of noise at the initial planning meeting
• First noise is when David deals with telephone call
• Second noise is when another person enters David’s office and interrupts the conversation.

Communication is so important at workplace because with the help of communication, we can share our views & talk to anyone at work. It is obvious that at our workplace so many customers will come & they must be satisfied with us.

(b)
Message & channel both are directly proportional to each other. Without any of them there is no any possibility of completion of communication.
(c)
The way trough the feedback is transmitted is gestures, expressions& body language.
(d)
Main reasons of perception are inappropriate channel, inappropriate message, and receiver’s inattention
(e)
Noise that interrupt the message or communication flow between sender & receiver can lead to misunderstanding, or to confuse or ambiguous communication.
(f)
Communication is learned behavior, I really agree with this statement because everyone didn’t know everything from his or her birth, these skills are gained by the passage of time.
(g)
It is very important to have empathy in a message by sender & receiver because it is having respect & honor of a person. Due to empathy receiver feel respect & give the feedback with respect.

A. Person A or B are sometime correct on their view or sometime not give proper feedback to another.

B. Person c gives proper solution to A and B regarding their discussion according to his observation.

I am manpreet singh.
I would like to see some change in upcoming Novel Printing.
Unfortunately, I can not be satisfied with colour combination and design component.
Would you please change layout of my book as soon as possible?
I would prefer colour which is black and white, also some of my pictures.
I am sending some of my pictures to you then you have to put in the book.
If this situation continues as it is, I am worried that I can not pay to you.
