Advantages:
Letter-
Letter is the best things which we can keep as a record of discussion between companies.
Letter contains company name, address, symbol, contact person name etc.
We can present attractive display & image on letter.

Telephone-
To build healthy relationship between each other.
Quick exchange of information.
Save your time & money (like write letter & post it).
We can contact any person immediately.

Personal Visit-
Easily conversation of both sides.
It provides immediate feedback.
Communication with eye contact, voice, body language.

Disadvantages:
Letter-
Time & cost consuming
It creates environmental issues.

Telephone-
We can’t understand person is telling true or fake because we can’t see his body language.
We don’t have any proof of our discussion.

Personal Visit-
Time consuming.
Sometimes conflicts occur.

(b) Michael should use to communicate via letter.

Michael and his clients are living in different location so they have to hard to make personal visit.
Letter is the best thing because we can write & send it via email & also we can keep record of that.
We can also write letter personally & post it to client.


2.(a) Communication is useful to express our thoughts, feelings, messages.
Everyone is using different communications skills like messages, body language, thoughts, and feelings.
We can’t work efficiently without communication skills.

(b) Yes, an organizations should train its staff in workplace communications.
If there is no communication skills then below things may happen-
Misunderstanding of messages.
Safety issue
Time consuming
Don’t understand how to do a task.

3.(a)When we three friends were met at railway station.I was very much happy because that my i got job and i told my friend.
1. Have a blast.
2. Let's go for party.
2. Have a fun tonight.

(b)Above all statement insensitive to the receiver's feelings because my friend got fail in exam & i didn't know anything about that & i told him directly that statement.

(c)I could tell him like that I am very happy today because i got job & we will go for party if you are free tonight.

(d)improper timing, inappropriate word, face expression.


4.(a) They have misunderstanding because of interruption between their communication as below.

When David and Mary meet in David’s office and discuss about new software package then someone call to David so telephone call is interrupted to David and another person ask to solve problem to Mary so another communication barrier is that person who breaks the conversation between David and Mary.

Mary tells David she has another appointment so David thinks she will present the new software package on tomorrow staff meeting.
(b) Answering telephone call noise
Person noise while talking

(c) David give answer and deal with telephone call then continues the conversation and Mary has provide the solution of delivery time for stock then continuous the conversation in this way David and Mary have dealt with the noise in their planning meeting.

5(a) A Good communication in the workplace helps employees with understanding of what is needed from them, with knowledge of what to do and what to expect. It is very important for communication – employees should not only listen, but always have a chance, and be encouraged to ask questions, discuss, and express own ideas.
(b) Message is the word or expression which passes between sender & receiver. Channel is the medium from which message pass like television, telephone etc.
(c) Feedback is transmitted in form of expression & body language.
(d) Context & interference or noise
(e) If sender send message through medium and there was a noise so receiver can’t understand that message & probably there is misunderstanding between sender & receiver.
(f) Yes because by communication we can share feeling of each other & also share ideas & knowledge.
(g) Empathy on the part of both sender and receiver marks the difference between ordinary understanding and excellence in communication.

6.Person A & Person B are discussing about best footy team & Person C was observing their discussion. Person A told Person B that Hawthorn(Hawks) is the best team while Person B told that Geelong(Cats) is the best team. Both were getting angry with eachother view. Person A told that Hawthorn won last year, so it's the best team while Person B replies Geelong was also in final but unfortunately it lost but geelong is the best team.
Person C was observing all these & finally he told them that we will decide which is the best team after getting result this year because both team are best with their own point of view.

Hi, I am Pritesh & today I am going to present my observation of communication between Parminder & Paramjeet.

Sender : Parminder
Receiver : Paramjeet

First I will explain when Parminder was Sender & Paramjeet was receiver.
Parminder asked some questions to Paramjeet like
Name
About Family
Education
Her weakness
Hobbies
About Friends
Purpose of coming in melbourne
Work History & skills etc.

I observe that body language of Parminder was positive when she was questing. She was confidentially asking each question while body language & face expression of Paramjeet was not quite good because she was like afraid from communication & she was not able to give proper answers. She gave very answer shortly not in brief. She was just looking around when Parminder was asking her questions. Her face expression was also not happy. She was not using proper words. I saw in here about receiver inattention & inappropriate choice of words.


Now I will explain what I have observed when Paramjeet was sender & Parminder was receiver.
Sender : Paramjeet
Receiver : Parminder

Paramjeet asked same questions which Parminder asked her but some questions still she missed like she didn’t asked about school & college life, rules & regulation where she was working, etc. At that time Parminder gave very well answers in brief which was questioned. Her face expression was positive. She was concentrating about all questions.

Summary:
From my observation I can say that Parminder has communication skills compare to Paramjeet.
