types of communication

1) ‘Communication is an interactive process.’ Briefly explain.

 Definition of Communication: The process of understand the information and thoughts from person to person by written, spoken, nonverbal and graphic communication. Communication plays a vital role in our daily life.

Nowadays, a communicator will survive in high position with his good communication at the organization, between their organizations and various places at his surrounds. There are few elements of communication like sender, receiver, message, context, channel, feedback and Interference. The sender and receiver send the message with the context through media of channel and get the feedback with little interference.

There are two states of interactions, in which the interaction of voice is negligible while talking two persons but the other interaction which gets interrupted for talking two persons.

 Example:
 When people are moving on the electric train which produce the noise with its moment is low and people could communicate well.
 While we move on road side at the heavy traffic streets then we would experience lot disturbance with the voice of the engines when there is communicate between two or more person
2) Define and give an example of verbal, nonverbal and graphic communication.

 The ideas of a person’s spoken or written words between two or more people known as VERBAL COMMUNICATION.
 The teacher teaches the subject to her students in the class by oral and writing on the board.

 The message between sender and receiver with oral, written and graphic pictures through a media of channel known NON – VERBAL COMMUNICATION.
 An employee communicate with his organisation through media of channel (through E-mail, phone, or a person) to send the message.

 The thought of the action and relationship could visually with designs, symbol’s known as GRAPHIC COMMUNICATION.
 In the human society we get message in the form of symbols at the railway station, bus stop and before any approach in runway or an organisation.

3) a) Define the terms ‘sender’ and ‘receiver’.
b) Define the term ‘message’.
c) Define the term ‘feedback’.

a) An individual deliver his action to understand his ideas called sender. The person receives thoughts and feelings from a unique person know as receiver.

b) Information or thinking passes from person to person through media of channel or a person is known as message.
c) A person get the replay for his action as reaction by receiver is known as Feedback.

4) a) Define the term ‘perception’.
b) List the four factors that may influence the perception of the sender and receiver of a message.

A: To understand vision with different factors known as perception.

B: The four factors of perception are culture, family, feelings and expectations influence the perception of the sender or receiver of a message.

5) A) List four different types of communication.
B) Define these and give an example of each.

A) Verbal communication, telecommunication, postal communication and electronic communication are the types of communication.

B) (i) Verbal Communication: The communication between the two people with the body expression to get proper understand for good result known as Verbal communication. Verbal communication could be used in short distance.

Example: The birds will express its views with the body language by its feather moment along with the leg moments and eye expressions to understand the message to remaining birds.

(ii) Telecommunication: The information which passes from one person to other by converting the data in binary form through a media while it passes from one point to other and it encodes into its original position with interference known as Telecommunication. Telecommunication plays a vital role in human life to communicate from long distance.

Example: one person will send the message trough telephone or mobile phone with the oral words to a particular person to know his ideas’ and intension. This communication is used by literate and illiterate people.

(iii)Postal Communication: Message passes from sender to receiver through person is known as Postal communication. Postal communication is started in olden days. People use to send the message with the birds due to lack of transportation. Nowadays, people receive the message through a person; these are the memorable or important message that could be store for many years.

Example: when man sends the message to his grandmother through the postal communication where she lives in small village situated at Small Island without electronic communication and telecommunication in the village.

(iv) Electronic Communication: Interaction of two persons’ through an electronic device to understands opinion of both sender and receiver through a media of cable in faster way (like optic fiber cable). In the present situation, Electronic communication plays’ an important role with its access.

Example: we send the message through email with the electronic device with in the organization, organizations’, and other parts of the world within very less time.
