Questions 1: ‘Communication is an interactive process’. Briefly explain.

Communication is an interactive process that consists of a flow of messages to and fro a sender & receiver. It can take place in various forms and may involve more than 1 element (sender, receiver, message, feedback, channel, context/setting, and interference/noise) at any given time. The message sent is decoded by the receiver according to his or her perception and once it’s decoded, the sender receives a feedback. This in itself makes it an interactive process.
