1. COMMUNICATION IS AN INTERACTIVE PROCESS.’ BRIEFLY EXPLAIN.

Communication in the workplace occurs for direct and indirect reasons. It is known to all that communication is the way which make us able to communicate with all over the world or anybody through different mediums .This is an interactive process because if we are not going to have interactive with someone or anything then we will be unable to share our thoughts ,ideas and our feelings toward anybody. Thus we can not have the satisfactory feedback so interactive is a tremendous part of communication. Interactive process is basic need of communication we can not even think about communication without interactive.
Interactive is the process that give us time to exchange our ideas, thoughts and feelings so that we can have right feedback as a result of communication so interactive is a huge part of communication . Interaction runs communication.

Communication in written, spoken (verbal) and even nonverbal is also used by professionals for evaluating performance, directing or instructing staff and motivating others. Where people working as a part of a team or department with a good communicator as its leader or coordinator generally more confident and competent because they understand what they are doing and what is required. Different organizations need interactive process to be succeed in particular field. Observe people who are good in their relationship at work with others. How do they interact with others? What skills they do?

Communication is the transfer of meaning:-These minor things teach us to be very aware about the need of communication for a successful life. People who communication-oriented. They demonstrate empathy, awareness and concern for others; they use their ability of listing, speaking and also aware about their own concerns and needs.

2. DEFINE AND GIVE AN EXAMPLE OF VERBAL, NONVERBAL AND GRAPHIC COMMUNICATION.

With a new view to achieve some mastery over the language & to develop Communication Skills, which is the main objective of this matter the basic concepts of communication, Non-verbal and written skills have been introduced. Understand and use the basic concepts of communication and principles of effective.

Communication in an organized set up and social context
With a positive feedback in various situations, to use appropriate body language & to avoid barriers for effective communication
Various types of letters, reports and office drafting with the appropriate format tell how communication is effective.
There are six stages of communication those are very important.
1. Sender who conveys the message.2. Message which consists of facts, ideas, opinions.3. Symbol this is also known as encoding of message.4. Channel-The communication channel can be a telephone.5. Receiver is the person who receives the message. He decodes the message and draws meaning from it.6. Feedback-the receiver sends his response to the sender of the message.

TYPE OF COMMUNICATION
Workplace communication is classified into three forms:- Every channel of communication requires skills suited to the form of communication that is used to send the message.
Communication is presented into three forms:
1. Verbal communication (spoken or written)
2. Nonverbal.
3. Graphic.
1.VERBAL COMMUNICATION.
Communication composed by different methods: Words, voice, tone and non verbal clue runes together. Few are more effective in delivering a message then others. Experts believe that words are 7% effective; tone of voice is 38% and non verbal clues are 55% effective. Verbal communication is the way which we talk to somebody face to face or via any communicate device. It generally defined as spoken language. Tone, enunciation, pauses, loudness, emphasis, word choice, these can all be used while speaking to enhance the spoken word.

Examples of verbal communication: speeches, face-to-face discussions, telephone conversations, voicemail, television, radio, recorded books and seminars, videos. Speakers using sign language would be considered to be using a form of verbal communication.
In a broader sense verbal communication would also include the written word.

2. NON VERBAL COMMUNICATION
Nonverbal communication is included in gestures, noises, body language, actions. In nonverbal communication people often express their true feelings more accurately than the spoken or written language. Non verbal communication plays a major role in interactive process. It basically involves in oral part of communication which tells the whole structure of interactive process. Good idea of non verbal communication gives satisfactory feedback that demand of better interactive cycle. In nonverbal communication personality works a lot behavior, dressing sense, body language, attractive symbols, motivation in new ideas for workplace etc.
Example of nonverbal communication
A manager who puts his feet up on the desk may convey an impression of status and confidence, while an employee who leans forward to listen may convey interest.

3.GRAPHIC COMMUNICATION
Graphics are visual presentations on some surface, such as a wall, canvas, computer screen, paper, or stone to brand, inform, illustrate, or entertain. Examples are photographs, drawings, Line Art, graphs, diagrams, typography, numbers, symbols, geometric designs, maps, engineering drawings, or other images.
Graphics often combine text, illustration, and color. Graphic design may consist of the deliberate selection, creation, or arrangement of typography alone, as in a brochure, flier, poster, web site, or book without any other element
Graphics can be functional or artistic. The latter can be a recorded version, such as a photograph, or an interpretation by a scientist to highlight essential features, or an artist, in which case the distinction with imaginary graphics may become blurred.

3. A.DEFINE THE TERMS ‘SENDER’ AND ‘RECEIVER’.
SENDER
Sender who originates the message and convey it to a person from whom he wants feedback that also called receiver
The point from where the message originated, imagine here the boss, is the sender. The action intended to happen out of this message is convening of a meeting urgently, but definitely not the next day morning.
RECEIVER
A person who gets the message and then it get into an interactive process. The receiver decodes or interprets the message to achieve understanding. The person who has to take delivery of message is the receiver. A peon, sales man, a secretary, a student are the receivers whose job is to understand exactly and act on it as intended by the sender.
B. DEFINE THE TERM ‘MESSAGE’.
Message is a way which connects the sender to the receiver. It is an idea or feeling originated from a sender to a receiver. It works as a base of communication. Message is a tremendous part of communication which shows the need of communication cycle for a feedback. It may be in verbal or nonverbal forms.
C. DEFINE THE TERM ‘FEEDBACK’.
Feedback is an essential part of effective communication. Feedback is the result of a conversation of two people in which a message calibrated by one person and then another receives it with attention and a message get into a interactive cycle then as a result there is a response from a receiver that called feedback. It enables both parties to evaluate the effectiveness of the message. If the receive doesn't understand what sender mean, receiver can tell by the response and then refine the message accordingly that is feedback
4. A. DEFINE THE TERM ‘PRECEPTION’.
Perception has significant influence on communication. It begins with self concept and works with the few elements like expectations, feelings, family, experience, attitudes and values, communication skills with the culture of particular person. Perception is the way people understand or give meaning to their environment. It is useful to look closely at it individual’s perception is influenced by experience, attitude, belief and rang of acquired skills or expectations. In philosophy, psychology, and the cognitive sciences, perception is the process of attaining awareness or understanding of sensory information.
B. LIST THE FOUR FACTORS THAT MAY INFLUENCE THE PRECEPTION OF THE SENDER OR RECEIVER OF A MESSAGE.
As we know that perception influences the communication a lot. It basically stands on the beliefs of a person. Thus the four factors can influence the communication like anything.
List of four factors those influences the perception of sender or receiver.
1. Self concept: matter of a conversation.
2. Experience: what kind of experience he has.
3. Culture: which type of culture they have.
4. Feeling: feeling influences the emotions.
Thus all four factors itself tell how it works in communication so these four factors influences communication a lot.
5. LIST FOUR DIFFERENT TYPE OF COMMUNICATION.
1. Verbal
Verbal communication is further divided into written and oral communication. The oral communication refers to the spoken words in the communication process. Oral communication can either be face-to-face communication or a conversation via different mediums of communication like phone, Internet many more. Spoken conversations or dialogs are influenced by voice modulation, pitch, volume and even the speed and clarity of speaking. The other type of verbal communication is written communication. Written communication can be either via snail mail, or email. The effectiveness of written communication depends on the style of writing, vocabulary used, grammar, clarity and precision of language which show the knowledge of sender
.
2. Nonverbal
It includes the overall body language of the person who is speaking, which will include the body posture, the hand gestures, and overall body movements. The facial expressions also play a major role while communication since the expressions on a person’s face say a lot about his/her mood.

For example gestures like a handshake, a smile or a hug can independently convey emotions. Non verbal communication can also be in the form of pictorial representations, signboards, or even photographs, sketches and paintings.

3. Formal.
The style of communication in this form is very formal and official. Official conferences, meetings and written memos and corporate letters are used for communication. Formal communication is mainly used when meeting new people, and trying to impress others. And it's basically speaking well mannered, good posture, body language and smiling a lot so facial expressions as well.

Formal communication can also occur between two strangers when they meet for the first time. Hence formal communication is straightforward, official and always precise and has a stringent and rigid tone to it.
5. INFORMAL
Informal communication requires two people to have a similar wavelength and hence occurs between friends and family. Informal communication does not have any rigid rules and guidelines. Informal conversations need not necessarily have boundaries of time, place or even subjects for that matter since we all know that friendly chats with our loved ones can simply go on.

Examples of informal communication would be instant messaging, a casual discussion, verbal exchange, note, or memorandum that may adhere less strictly to rules and conventions.
