COMMUNICATION: - Communication is the process of by which people construct representations of meaning such that other people can interpret those representations. As transferring data from one destination to other destination in different ways

VERBAL COMMUNICATION: - A medium for communication that entails talking using the spoken word, such as talking face-to-face, on a telephone, or as a speech.

NONVERBAL COMMUNICATION: - A medium for communication that entails using cues via body language to convey message content. Facial expressions, body gestures, and voice intonation are forms of nonverbal communication.

SENDER: - The originator of the message. The sender transfers the message to the receiver.

RECEIVER: - The person for whom the sender intends a message. The receiver is responsible for listening to, understanding, and responding to the message.

MESSAGE: - Message is a mediator between sender and receiver it reveals information in various ways and ability to understand

FEEDBACK: - Feedback refers to the return of some part of the output of a certain process back into the input, the purpose being the controlling or the maintaining of performance of the system (people) at a particular level.

PERCEPTION: It is defined as understanding of message by individual person. It is different from one person to another

Factors that may influence the perception of the sender or receiver of a message:

CULTURE: - Different cultures have different value and customs way of understanding also vary

FEELINGS: - Every individual have different feelings if some people like particular things some one don’t like that

EXPERIENCE:-In some incidents someone had bad or good experience it depends how he take inside and they approach

EXPECTATIONS:-Every one expectation is not same some one except high or some one except less it depends how they receive

DIFFERENT TYPES OF COMMUNICATIONS:

FORMAL COMMUNICATION: - Formal communication includes all the instances where communication has to occur in a set formal format. Typically this can include all sorts of business communication or corporate communication. The style of communication in this form is very formal and official. Official conferences, meetings and written memos and corporate letters are used for communication.

TELECOMMUNICATION:-Is the assisted transmissions over a distance for the purpose of communication. In earlier times, this may have involved the use of smoke, signals, drums, semaphore, flags, or heliograph .In modern times telecommunication typically involves the use of electronic devices such as the telephone, television, radio or computer.

VISUALCOMMUNICATIOM: - The graphic design industry offers a dynamic professional environment. It involves multimedia and new forms of electronic communication, as well as more traditional areas of practice such as advertising, publishing, packaging, and corporate image design. Graphic designers will continue to influence the look and direction of emerging media forms such as the Web and CD-ROM.

PERSUASIVE COMMUNICATION: - Persuasive communication may be defined as the process through which people attempt to influence the beliefs or actions of others. In many cases persuasive communication involves people who are important to each other—parents influence children, children influence parents, and friends influence each other.
