1. Communications process occurs between sender & receiver by sending message through channel (medium) & it gives feedback.
2. Verbal communication: - Communication using spoken words between tow or more people is known as verbal communication. E.g. Oral, written communications
Non verbal Communication:
Communications using body language & face expression are known as non verbal communications. E.g. Smile
Graphic Communication:
Communication occurs visually using some picture & image is known as graphic communication. E.g. Display board for traffic rules
3. Sender: Sender encodes an idea or feeling in words or signs that the receiver will recognize and transmit message to receiver
Receiver: The receiver decodes or interprets the message to achieve understanding.
Message: The message is the idea or feeling transmitted from sender to receiver. It makes connection between sender & receiver.
Feedback: Feedback is an essential part of successful communication. It’s a result of successful communications.
4. Perception is the way people understand or give meaning to their environment. It is varies between two persons according to how each individual’s perception is influenced by experience.
Factors: Expectations, Experience, Feelings, Culture, Attitude & values
5. Different types of communication
Oral – When one person communicate with eachother on phone or face to face then it is oral communication.
Written – When person communicate with text message is known as written or verbal communication.
Non verbal – when person communicate via face expression or sign language. It is non verbal communication.
Graphic – When communicate via picture & symbol is known as graphic communication.
