Communication and Computer Skills

1) Communication is an interactive process. ‘Briefly explain.

Communication is a process of transferring information from one person to another person. In Communication there are two main things first is sender and other is receiver. Communication is commonly defined as "the imparting or interchange of thoughts, opinions, or information by speech, writing, or signs".


2) Define and give an example of verbal, nonverbal and graphic communication.

(i) Verbal: Verbal Communication is the process of communicating through sending and receiving with word messages. One person ask some things its call verbal communication. Person writing some things and send to another person it’s call verbal communication. Ex. Letter, Mail and so many
(ii) Nonverbal Communication: Nonverbal Communication is the process of communicating through sending and receiving wordless messages. . Such messages can be communicated through gesture, body language or posture, facial expression and eye contact, and clothes, and so many things.
(iii) Graphic communication: At that time graphic communication is very popular in Graphic Arts industries. This communication is very issuer to understand what messages are there. Ex. Poster, sort film, poster just like advertise.

3) a) Define the terms ‘sender’ and ‘receiver’:-

Sender: somebody or something that sends or transmits something. It’s means speaker. Some people send your messages to any person. Sender per called sender.

Receiver: Receiver also call listener. Some person send the messages and another person receive this messages it’s call receiver.

b) Define the term ‘message’:- Message is while concept. It is included so many things just like speech, writing, or signals, usually a brief one. The message connects the sender to the receiver.

c) Define the term ‘feedback’:- Feedback is main part of communication because of it is respond of listeners. There are three things are in feedback first is continuity of communication, indicates understanding or misunderstanding of the message and last one is stimulates further communication and discussion.







4) a) Define the term ‘perception’:- Perception is the way people understand or give meaning to their environment. Perception included so many things such as self concept, family, culture, skills, feelings, attitudes and values. For example: one person may perceive the 13 number is lucky while another person may see 13 number as unlucky.

b) List the four factors that may influence the perception of the sender of receiver of a message.

5) a) List four different type of communication:

1) verbal communication

5) b Define these and give an example of each:

Verbal: letter, mail
Nonverbal: posture, body language, sort film.
Visual: Film
Graphic : letter, photo, film
