ANS.1a. Advantage and disadvantage of three possible channels of communication : Advantage of sending a letter : If Michael sends a letter to the buyer then he can choose impressive words . There will not be any noice barrier. He can give description , there will not be any time limit.Disadvantage of sending a letter: Sending a letter can create many barriers like inattention , wastage of time or poor layout.Advantage of making a call: If Michael can impress his clint by impressive ideas , he can convince him by a pleased manner of his voice . It will save a lot of time by calling through a telephone.Disadvantage of making a call: There can be noice disturbance during the communication , lack of courtesy, different cultural background, inappropriate timing or pronounciation difference.Advantage of personal visit: I think if Michael will meet him can have a feedback at the time. He can explain the benefits to the buyer . It will save time , no interuption of noice and good verbal communication.Disadvantage of personal visit: There can be poor layout and presentation , lack of courtesy by sender or receiver.b. Michael should have a personal visit to his potential client because i think this channel is most appropriate one ,he can also guess the receiver/'s intention, appropriate timing, and he donot have to wait for the feedback.
ANS.2a. This statement means that if a person have good knowledge , experience or he is perfect at doing his work but on the other hand he is lacking at his communication level while working in a organisation. In this case this employer will not get a good position or pay for his work and his other skills will not be given much importance as to be given . So one of the most impotant skills for working in a organisation is communication skills.b. According to me it is very important to train there staff at workplace communication because if the staff members are not realy good at communication then custmers or clients can not communicate as properly to them. It will create communication barriers. It will also effect the economy of the organisation.
ANS.3A. 1. The statement i have spoken was ," I dont like the people who are realy religious". So it hurt the feelings of my friend because he was a religious person.2. I have seen the people hurting the cultural values the statements was,"Your country is realy backward". 3.A realy hard working employ was told by his boss that," You are not good at your work any time " .B. 1. In first statement there was different attitude and values. 2. Here it was different cultures. 3. In this there was lack of coutesy.C.Yes it can be more effective.D. Non verbal communication that does not support the words , different cultural backgrounds and lack of courtesy by sender or receiver.

Message and channel are both important for each other because message is send through channel and channel will be blank without message. c. In non verbal communication the feedback is done through gestures, expressions or body language. d. Cultural values and receivers inattention. e. Lack of understanding occures due to noice intruption which is a communication barrier. f. Actually I am not agree to this statement because a person have to learn communication according there living area . g. It is very important for both sender and receiver to have ampathy for each other because if they dont have there wil be difference betwween thier ideas, attitude ,perception and values which will be a communication barrier .
