COMMUNICATION AND COMPUTER SKILLS





1. Communication is an interactive process
ans. communication is the transfer of meaning communication will be done by different processes interactive process is one of them
we can describe interactive in technical and nontechnical
technical interaction in the sense through wire messages like e-mails and interaction between sender and receiver
nontechnical interaction means verbal communication it can be defined as live interaction between two persons

2. Verbal communication :-it can be defined as live interaction between two or more people either in the communication devise like cellular
devises or in person or written words in written communication for example sending e-mails
nonverbal communication:-it sent by any means other than words or graphics and in oral communication these include facial expression ,body
movement, posture and dress. format and layout are some of the nonverbal components of written and graphic communication
graphic communication :-it represents ideas, relationships or connections visually with shapes diagrams and lines. graphic communication can have
both verbal and nonverbal components for example some of the no smoke signs displayed in public places

3. define sender:- senders are individuals who to situations from a unique vantage point interpreting and filtering experiences through their own perception unique to individual senders and integral to all the communication they engage in is a background of accumulated attitudes, experiences, skills, cultural conditioning and individual differences that influences how they communicate.
Define receiver:-the receiver decodes or interprets the message to understanding. In doing this , the receiver is also acting as an individual from a unique vantage point interpreting the idea according to the particular person perception of the message. This perception is the result of the receiver unique background of experiences, beliefs, concerns and many other factors.

Define message:-the message is an idea or feeling transmitted from the sender to the receiver to achieve understanding. It makes a connection between sender and receiver

Define Feedback:-there is a constant feeding back of information as people interact and feedback is an encouraging the speaker to continue we can define feedback as,
1. gives the communication continuity
2. indicates understanding or misunderstanding of the message
3. stimulates further communication and discussion

4.Perception:- since perception is significant influence on communication it can be defined as the process of attaining awareness or understanding of sensory information. It is a task far more complex than was imagined what the present generation imaging its all depends on the way of thinking of different generations

Four factors that may influence the perception of the sender or receiver of a message:-
1. attitude
2. experience
3. believes
4. expectations
.




5. Types of communication:-
1. Electronic or computerized
2. Verbal
3. Written and
4. Special methods(graphical or pictorial)

Electronic or computerized communication can be considered such as mails from computers fax and speaking through phone can say as examples
Verbal communication can take the form of spoken words between two or more people for example discussion either face to face or through instruments like mobiles walkie talkies
Written communication can be sent either in written directly or can be sent email or fax using electronic sources
Graphical communications can communicate by using different concerned and knowing graphics by which people can recognise which are displayed
